Senior Officer, Training and Maintenance

Retail Banking | Phnom Penh

I. Job Overview
As the Supervisor of Training and Maintenance, you will play a dual role in driving business growth and ensuring operational excellence. You are responsible for overseeing the full loan lifecycle from proactive field marketing and rigorous credit analysis to ongoing portfolio monitoring and relationship management.

II. Responsibilities

  1. Achieves performance objectives set by line supervisor.
  2. Plans for field work and visit customer to promote Company’s products and services
  3. Provides clear product feature, benefit, loan criteria to customer
  4. Interviews customers to gather/extract necessary loan information (both personal, guarantor and financial information) based on specific loan customer needs/requests
  5. Processes Loan documents by analysing and verifying loan application based on financial information vs. physical visit
  6. Explains the reason of recommendation/rejection for the visited customer to Direct Line manager/supervisor for next step decision
  7. Conducts KYC and CDD on customer following company’s requirement and report STR to immediate supervisor and/or Legal and Compliance Section in case there is any suspicion
  8. Monitors the loan and follows up of the timely repayment
  9. Maintains contact and builds strong good relationship with customers and local authorities
  10. Ensures good grooming and dressing/uniform per regulation among all staff under direct supervision
  11. Provides full and accurate reports to line Supervisor on a regular basis and on timely manner
  12. Assists line supervisor to train, develop and retain branch staff
  13. Assists line supervisor to ensure full compliance of Company policy, process, procedure
  14. Assists line supervisor to raise and reinforce awareness of fraud issue in the Company and in the industry
  15. Assists line supervisor and directly/indirectly fight against fraud matters in the operation
  16. Assists line supervisor and handles operation challenge, customer complaints
  17. Assists line supervisor to keep a positive working environment in the team, encouraging a positive culture, learning environment and continuously learning for self-improvement and team development

III. Job Requirement

  1. Bachelor Degree in Management, Finance & Banking, or related field
  2. Minimum one year experience in similar role
  3. Experience in managing banking operation
  4. Experience and willing develop a sales team to achieve
  5. Developing relationships with clients/agents
  6. Be able to work on field and provincial visit
  7. Be proactive, high commitment, and pressure handling well
  8. English proficiency with MS. Office (Word, Excel. Power Point, etc.)
  9. Strong inter and intra personal skill, problem solving skill, critical thinking skill, and motivation/energetic skill
