I. Job Overview

The Chief, Middleware & API Integration leads the Bank’s ESB and API platform (Fiorano), building secure integrations that connect core banking, card, and payment systems with external partners. The role ensures reliable connectivity between legacy and modern systems and resolves integration issues quickly to minimize downtime.

II. Job Description

• Design, develop, and deploy integration workflows and APIs using Fiorano Enterprise Service Bus and Fiorano API Management.
• Build and manage API gateways, service orchestration, and message routing between internal and external systems.
• Integrate applications using REST, SOAP, and other messaging protocols.
• Implement API security standards (OAuth2, JWT, API keys, rate limiting).
• Ensure development deliverables meet business requirements.
• Maintain seamless connectivity and data synchronization between legacy systems and modern applications via ESB and middleware.
• Track system health and troubleshoot integration issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist in designing and delivering advanced custom development solutions.
• Resolve application development issues in a timely manner.

III. Job Requirement

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience working with ESB platforms such as Fiorano or WSO2.
• Experience in system integration with Core Banking, Card System, VISA, Bakong, SMS, Bill Payment, Phone Top-up, AML, CamDX, or other third-party systems.
• Experience with databases including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or others.

Technical Skills

• Working knowledge of Java/J2EE for custom connector and adapter development.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, and Groovy.
• Proficiency in REST, SOAP, XSD, XML, JSON, and XSLT.
• Knowledge of Linux server administration and network infrastructure.
