I. Job Description
The Internship of Accounting will support the Accounting and Finance team in performing daily accounting operations and financial record-keeping activities. This role provides hands-on experience in banking accounting processes, regulatory compliance, and internal controls, while ensuring accuracy and timely processing of financial data.
Key Responsibilities:

Support reconciliation of bank accounts, general ledger, and suspense accounts.

Assist in checking and verifying accounting documents, vouchers, invoices, and supporting evidence.

Support month-end closing activities and preparation of accounting schedules.

Assist in filing and maintaining accounting documents in accordance with internal policies and audit requirements.

Support internal and external audit requests by preparing required documents.

Assist in compliance with bank policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Perform other tasks as assigned by the Accounting Supervisor or Line Manager.
II. Job Requirements
Education & Background:

Undergraduate student in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or a related field (Year II or above), or fresh graduate.

Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Skills & Competencies:

Basic knowledge of accounting concepts and bookkeeping.

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and email.

Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.

Willingness to learn banking accounting processes and regulations.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
