Computer Donation to Enhance Learning Opportunities for Cambodian Children in Kampong Thom
On June 5, 2026, AEON Specialized Bank (Cambodia) Plc., represented by Managing Director Mr. Tomohiro Usami, donated 100 computers that 5 unit is to schools at Stung Treng Province and 95 units were distributed to 89 educational institutions and district offices of education Santuk District, Kampong Thom Province, through the Raksa Koma Organization. The computer handover ceremony took place at the Santuk District Hall under the high presidency of Mr. Ly Sideth, Cash General of the National Bank of Cambodia, acting as the high representative for Her Excellency Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia. The event was co-presided over by the Governor of Santuk District and the General Manager of the Raksa Koma Organization and was attended by numerous teachers.
AEON Specialized Bank firmly hopes that this donation of refurbished technological equipment will contribute to bridging the digital divide and reducing disparities in access to digital devices. Such inequalities have historically hindered talented students in underprivileged areas from accessing education and remote employment opportunities. In alignment with the Bank’s environmental support policy, this initiative extends the lifecycle of our equipment and reduces electronic waste, fostering greater environmental sustainability.
