Manager, Card Sales Management

I. Job Overview
The Manager, Card Sales Management (Head of Section leads the Card Sales Management Section) directing merchant and dealer alliance development, digital payment partnerships, and direct sales card acquisition. This role ensures these functions operate cohesively to expand the Bank’s card and digital payment customer base, strengthen corporate and merchant relationships, and deliver field-based acquisition results in line with the Sales Promotion Department’s targets.

II. Job Description

MERCHANT & ALLIANCE MANAGEMENT
• Oversee branches in the recruitment, onboarding, and management of dealers and merchants.
• Direct efforts to review, maintain, and improve relationships with existing dealers, merchants, and strategic alliances, including digital payment partners.
• Ensure the performance and ROI of Merchant & Alliance recruitment efforts are regularly monitored and evaluated.
DIRECT SALES & CARD ACQUISITION
• Direct direct-sales product schemes and acquisition activities in the field, at both HQ and branch levels.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of strong corporate client relationships to boost Credit Card sales and cross-sell other financial products.
• Oversee the planning, deployment, and execution of booth activities, events, and on-the-ground activations.
• Ensure the section acts as the primary execution arm for direct customer acquisition strategies designed by the Sales Strategy team.
SECTION MANAGEMENT
• Manage the Card Sales Management Section under the Sales Management Group, and control the section’s budget and expenditure within approved limits.
• Undertake other duties as reasonably assigned by management from time to time.

III. Job Requirement

Education : Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

Experience :  At least 5 years’ experience in card sales, merchant/dealer partnerships, or direct sales, preferably within banking or financial services, including experience managing a team.

Skills :  Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills. Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, internet, and email applications.
