I. Job Overview

Responsible for supporting the daily operation and stability of the core banking system (T24 CBS). This role ensures smooth execution of critical processes such as COB (Close of Business) and EOD/EOM/EOY cycles, monitors system performance, and resolves operational issues in a timely manner. The position also involves coordinating with business units, vendors, and IT teams to manage incidents, maintain system availability, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the role supports system enhancements, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

II. Job Description

1. System Operations & Monitoring

• Perform day-to-day operations of T24 CBS, including system health checks and job monitoring.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure system stability.
• Review system logs and validate operational reports.

2. COB & Batch Processing

• Execute and monitor COB (Close of Business) and EOD/EOM/EOY processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all batch processes.
• Coordinate with business teams to resolve COB exceptions and discrepancies.

3. Incident & Problem Management

• Respond to system incidents, alerts, and user-reported issues.
• Investigate root causes and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
• Maintain incident and problem records in line with ITIL processes.
• Work with vendors and IT teams to prevent recurring issues.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Collaborate with business departments on operational schedules, reporting, and issue resolution.
• Communicate system issues, risks, and delays to management in a timely manner.

5. Change Management & System Improvement

• Support system changes, testing, and deployment of new features.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and go-live activities.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.

6. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with IT policies, audit requirements, and internal controls.
• Participate in risk assessments, disaster recovery (DR) drills, and business continuity planning.

7. Other Duties

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.

III. Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in IT operations, preferably in banking or financial systems.
• Hands-on experience with Temenos T24 (Transact) is preferred.
• Experience in running and monitoring COB/EOD/EOM/EOY processes.
• Basic knowledge of RHEL/Linux, Oracle Database, batch job scheduling, and log analysis.
• Familiar with system monitoring tools and incident ticketing systems.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Shell/SQL) is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure or outside business hours.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly responsible for system availability.
• Good command of English (speaking, reading, and writing).
