Senior Officer, Risk Assessment

I. Job Overview

Support the Line Manager in implementing and monitoring risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures. Assist in risk assessments, reporting, and maintaining risk registers, while tracking key risk indicators and ensuring effective risk control across the organization.

II. Job Responsibilities 

  • Assist the Line Manager in developing and implementing Risk Management Frameworks, Policies, Regulations, and Procedures.

  • Support the Line Manager and business departments in conducting annual risk reviews, monitoring, and control assessments.

  • Help prepare and review risk management reports, including Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, Credit Risk, and Operational Risk.

  • Report critical risk issues to the supervisor and relevant committees.

  • Collect and validate data to track key risk indicators (KRIs) and communicate findings to stakeholders.

  • Maintain a risk register to ensure all identified risks are properly recorded and controlled.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

III. Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Management, or a related field.

  • Basic knowledge of Risk Management principles (Operational, Market, Liquidity) and understanding of risk frameworks and regulatory requirements for banks or MFIs.

  • 2–3 years of relevant work experience (more experience is a plus).

  • Good communication skills; English proficiency is an advantage.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Willing and able to travel to provinces.
