Senior Officer, Learning & Development

Job Description:

  • Manage and monitor on the training plan and training budget;
  • Assess training needs for existing and new staffs
  • Identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders regarding employee training needs.
  • Organize, develop or source training programs to meet specific training needs.
  • Develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks.
  • To be responsible for all aspects of training within the company.
  • Prepare monthly and yearly training program (internal and external).
  • Manages training program; scheduling rotations and assignments; monitoring job contributions; coaching staff; advising managers on training and coaching.
  • Monitor and when needed conduct orientation training to new staff.
  • Manage and update training reports.
  • Review, develop, roll out, and implement succession planning program
  • Review, develop, roll out, and implement certification program for external candidates

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field required.
  • At least two years of training experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
  • Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
